Set variables in your shell

These commands use a POSIX shell such as zsh or bash. Variables apply to that shell and its child processes.

Check access before generation

List models using the same key you will use for generation. This does not send a generation request.

Other compatible clients

Choose an OpenAI-compatible connection if the client offers one. Set the base URL, site API key and exact enabled model ID. Some tools require a full URL and some append a version prefix. Verify the outgoing path before troubleshooting the model.

A configuration option is not proof of complete tool compatibility. Features such as tool calling, image input and special provider protocols depend on both the model and client; use only verified capabilities.
